Yes. Our wine making kits use the same or higher quality ingredients/resources provided by a world renowned supplier of wine. It may help to allow the wine to age after taking it home.

Is it expensive? How does this compare to prices from LCBO or from the grocery store?

Not at all. We offer wine for every budget. Because you are making the wine yourself, you save the high tax rates associated with beverage alcohol. In fact, our wines can be made for as little as $5 per bottle, making it very affordable compared to store-bought wine.

What is the alcohol content?

The alcohol level can vary from 6% to 14.5%, depending on the wine style you choose. Please refer to the wine descriptions for individual alcohol levels.

How long can I age my bottles of wine for?

The length of time that it will last depends on many factors. There is no set aging time. A lot of it has to do with the care that was taken during the winemaking process, and of course, the conditions you have for storing your bottled wine.

The most important thing, however, is that the wine is kept at a constant temperature and not in a place where the temperature fluctuates up and down on a regular basis.

Ideally your wine should be consumed in 5 years.

How many bottles does one wine kit make?

You will take home about 29 - 30 bottles of wine in one batch.

How long does it take to bottle my wine?

Depending on your speed and whether or not you want to put on labels/shrink wraps, bottling can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour. We book all of our appointments 1 hour apart so you won’t feel rushed.

Can I clean my bottles when I come in to bottle?

Your bottles should already be clean as we provide time and equipment for sanitizing already clean bottles. Thoroughly rinsing a wine bottle very soon after it is empty and storing it properly, eliminates the need to spend much more time cleaning bottles.

HINT! Store the clean bottles upside down to avoid contamination by foreign objects, dust, insects etc.. You will notice a difference!

How should my beer be stored and how long can I store it?

Your beer must be refrigerated after bottling and consumed within 3 months of bottling.

*Since your craft beer does not include any additives or preservatives it does not have the same shelf-life as beer purchased from the beer store.
